The RADFAM is excited to announce the upcoming release our latest film Counter Methods - EVOLUTION.

A documentary 10 years in the making.  Set for release November, 2026, for free viewing online.

Making this film has been a labor of love.  One that couldn't have been realized without the love and support of our friends, family and community.  It's truly a miracle that a normal family, from an tiny town, was able to pull this off... and we owe it all to you.  You know who you are!

Filming began (without knowing it) back in 2014 when Nahli was only 2 years old, wandering around Nub's Nob with a binky in her mouth.  Filming progressed naturally over the years as a way for dad and daughter to spend time together and stoke the flame of what quickly became a shared passion.  Fast forward to 2021/2022 when we as the RADFAM released our first feature length documentary entitled 'Counter Methods - An Experiment in Raising a Strong and Empowered Female Athlete'.  2022/2023 brought an opportunity to turn the Counter Methods concept into a nine episode vlog series, chronicling our winter adventures around the Midwest.  In 2024 Nahli secured funding through her sponsors to get back on the road and produce another film over the 2024/2025 season.  It wasn't until this moment that we knew what all of this archived footage would be used for.  This opportunity gave Nahli the chance to tell her story, dad a chance to work with long forgotten footage, mom and huck with a chance to show their support for a big adventure.

Filming was completed in April 2025. Post production began immediately, wrapping up a final version of the film in November 2025.  Counter Methods - EVOLUTION was quickly swooped up by the good folks at the International Freesports Film Festival and was screened online alongside an unbelievable group of snowboard films.  December 13th, 2025 marked the 'in person' world premiere of EVOLUTION at the City Opera House in Traverse City, Michigan.  This showing was a grassroots effort, organized by family, friends, sponsors and the local community.  It was an amazing night full of fun, games, drinks, community and of snow sports films.  Sharing the stage at the Traverse City showing were Mr. Mike King (mc), Alexa Juncai (athlete), and Ashley Sobczynski (athlete).  January 2026 would find the RADFAM and EVOLUTION on a screening tour of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, three showings over three weeks.  Chris and Amy of AVAGUE ( A Visionary Art Gallery U Experience ) opened their cozy venue for two sold out showings of Counter Methods, January 24th & 28th.  Mount Bohemia was our next venue for a FREE showing of EVOLUTION on January 31st.

Since then we have spent our time entering Counter Methods - EVOLUTION into countless film festivals.  We're looking forward to finishing out the last handful of festivals and putting this beast of snowboard film out to the public for free online viewing.
